There are reports that Indian actor Shahrukh Khan has turned down a movie with the legend Jackie Chan. Shahrukh has also reportedly patched up with his rival Salman Khan.
A top-notch Hollywood studio was planning to make a two-hero film and had zeroed on Chan and Sharukh for the roles. However, Sharukh turned down the offer, according to Asian Age. It seems that Shahrukh does not want to play second fiddle to a Hollywood star, so he turned down the offer. In the past, he had turned down Danny Boyle's offer of "Slumdog Millionaire," which made history.
Meanwhile, both Khans are often seen fighting over the social media with witty remarks against each other. However, now they seem to have mellowed down and even showed some ambient love at the Iftar party last year.
The growing closeness between the two was witnessed once again this year, during the breaking fast of Ramadan, according to The Times of India. Salman tweeted praise for Sharukh's upcoming flick "Raees," whose trailor was recently released.
On the other hand, Sharukh replied to Salman's tweet, wishing him a "Happy Eid" and asking him playfully to send some biryani to his home for his kids, as he was away for work in Bulgaria.
Now that they seem to have patched up, rumors are flying around about the two icons coming together to star in a movie. It was previously rumored that all the three Bollywood Khans Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir Khan are interested to star in a movie together. However now, it seems only Shahrukh and Salman want to go that way.
Their first movie together was "Karan Arjun" and then they were seen together in "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai." According to the latest reports, director Aditya Chopra wants to cast the two actors in his next movie. He thinks that it is a killer combo, which would take the box office by storm. This report also stated that Shahrukh is already onboard for this movie.
Shahrukh is also giving out cryptic responses to skeptical fans over Twitter and adding more fuel to this rumor. On the other hand, Salman is not giving out any comments over this issue.
Production House "Yash Raj Films" and Chopra refused to comment on the issue.
