Fans of "Fifty Shades Darker" have been speculating that Christian Grey's (Jamie Dornan) sex scenes with Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) will become much longer compared to their scenes on "Fifty Shades of Grey."
According to Movie Pilot, this bold move could be the result of Henry Cavill's recent revelation that he will not play Jack Hyde in the upcoming sequel. Fans were enraged over the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's" confession especially since he initially hinted that he will be part of "Fifty Shades Darker."
The same publication also noted different ways on how to make the sequel more appealing to audiences. "Fifty Shades Darker" should give more emphasis to Christian's storyline because the film was told from the perspective of Anastasia. However, E.L James' trilogy was written this way and Christian's perspective of the story was only told through her newest book, "Grey."
Meanwhile, another way to make "Fifty Shades Darker" more appealing is by making sure that whoever will be cast as Jack can give justice to the role. Now that Cavill will no longer play the part, fans are anticipating who will be given the title of Christian's nemesis.
In other news, some characters in the upcoming movie have not yet been filled either. The role of Mrs. Robinson or Elena Lincoln has still not been cast. Additionally, the role of Leila Williams or Christian's former submissive has not been filled either, Glamour Magazine reported.
"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
