The front panel of the real iPhone 6S has been revealed in fresh photos. Apple is expected to launch it in a new rose gold color edition.
Fresh images of the display unit of the iPhone 6S has surfaced that shows that it will come enabled with Force Touch feature. Since a new component is seen attached to the display assembly of the iPhone 6S, it appears different from the display unit of the iPhone 6, Phone Arena reported.
The Force Touch feature allows the handset to differentiate between harder and lighter taps and perform relevant feedback. The Cupertino giant has already employed the Force Touch technology on the Apple Watch and the MacBook 2015. Rumors are rife that the mass production of the Force Touch parts for the upcoming iPhones have commenced
Since the display unit will be accommodating the Force Touch technology, the newer iPhones will be thicker than the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6S Plus from 2014. Hence, the iPhone 6S will be measuring 7.1 mm in thickness. The iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6S Plus measures 6.9 mm and 7.1 mm, respectively, Mac Rumors reported.
Fresh rumors also reveal that even though the iPhone 6S will not appear different from the iPhone 6, it will be coming with powerful internal components. The forthcoming will be fitted smaller logic board that will allow manufacturers to include less number of chips on the iPhone 6S.
This will make it possible to build faster performing iPhone 6S by using power-efficient components. According to the rumor mill, the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus will come with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display, respectively.
Unlike the usual space gray, silver and gold color schemes, a new rose gold color variant is also heavily expected for the newer iPhones. Other rumored specs include A9 chip, 2 GB of RAM, and 12 MP camera for both handsets
