The Channel 4 TV series "Humans" ended with a huge success on its ratings and reviews. Reviews acknowledge three factors that can be considered as the shows weapon to success, which are the cast's strong acting, the creative production and the suburban setting of the show.

The series is an adaptation of a Swedish show by former "Spooks" writers Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley. The series concentrated on the everyday life drama rather than to try too hard to be dystopian or futuristic, according the TelegraphInstead of driverless cars, hover boards or jet-boots, the show used love, loneliness and the struggle for a work or life balance.

Also, the cast members are evenly excellent while the script was thoughtfully studied which is typical for a show that has pondered the psychological implications of artificial intelligence, rather than getting sidelined by shiny whizz-bang stuff.

The "Humans" finale is hypnotic and it touches the viewers with tender, full of sad farewells, maternal embraces and romantic reunions. While the first season is over, it is not game over yet since the show will be back in 2016 for a second series, which may focus on Niska's decision to release the code that could unleash thousands of conscious synths, according to Radio Times,

The unleashing of the synths might start a civil war between man and machines. It also cited that Neil Maskell's DI Drummond and the synth Karen may develop a romantic tie.
