"Arrow" co-showrunner Marc Guggenheim recently talked about Oliver and Felicity's romance in the upcoming fourth season of the CW series.
In an interview with TV Line during the 2015 TCA summer press tour, Guggenheim said that fans will see some changes in terms of Oliver and Felicity's body language.
According to him, Oliver and Felicity's relationship in season 4 will be organic, but their body language would show how close and comfortable they have become with each other.
Meanwhile, Guggenheim revealed that a funny Felicity will be back in season 4. During the first few seasons of "Arrow," Felicity was depicted as a light-hearted character who served as the comic relief in the show. Fans who have missed the character like this would get to see her again this season.
Guggenheim also talked about the flashbacks that will be featured in season 4. He admitted that at some point throughout the past seasons, he has grown tired of the flashbacks because they were not really in sync with the present. Now, Guggenheim has challenged the writers to stop worrying about the connections between the past and the present and to just focus on telling a good story.
In other news, DC Comics' Constantine will make an appearance on "Arrow" season 4. Constantine is played by actor Matt Ryan and he will appear in the fifth episode for the season, according to Variety. Guggenheim said that he is looking forward to Ryan joining the cast for an episode because he is a very talented actor.
"Arrow" season 4 will premiere on the CW this fall.
