"America's Got Talent" (AGT) Season 10 (2015) continued with its first Quarterfinal round on Aug. 12, 2015. The show conducted t eliminations and sent five out of 12 acts home. The remaining acts advanced to the next level. Meanwhile, the four judges-Mel B, Heidi Klum, Howard Stern and Howie Mandel-continue to be a part of the show. "America's Got Talent" (AGT) Season 10 (2015) Live Show-Part 1 eliminations episode opened with a performance by Omi, who sang his latest single "Cheerleader." This was followed by a quick recap of the 12 acts from the previous night.
The show host Nick Cannon then explained that the first five acts move on to the next level. However, those that ended up at sixth, seventh and eighth place needed public support to move forward. Alondra Santos, Samantha Johnson and The Gentlemen were sixth, seventh and eighth acts. Fate of these contestants was decided by public votes and judges. The voting lines were opened once again for the Instant save.
The show then continued with the results. In the first round, Piff The Magic Dragon and Triple Threat were called forward. Only one out of these two contestants was chosen to advance to the next level. Piff The Magic Dragon was declared the winner of the round and Triple Threat was eliminated.
Next, Vita Radionova and Benton Blount were called out. Benton Blount was selected for the next phase of competition on "America's Got Talent" (AGT) Season 10 (2015).
Season 9's winner Mat Franco took the stage next to deliver a performance. He was followed by other acts from previous years, including Recycled Percussion, Emily West and Jackie Evancho.
More results were announced. Then, Siro-A and Craig and Micheline were called forward. Eventually, Siro-A was announced to be moving forward in the competition and Craig and Micheline were eliminated.
They were followed by Drew Lynch, Paul Zirden and Showproject. However, only two acts were selected for the semifinals. Paul Zirden and Drew Lynch were declared to be moving forward to the next round.
In the end, results for the three acts in danger were announced. The public voted for Samantha Johnson for "America's Got Talent" (AGT) Season 10 (2015) semifinals.
At the end, judges made one last pick to save one act. Except Howie, all the three judges chose Alondra Santos leading to the elimination of The Gentlemen.
