Just a few days after dissing Taylor Swift over the violence depicted in her hit number "Bad Blood," pop star Miley Cyrus is seemingly facing an embarrassing situation owing to a recently surfaced three-month-old video in which she, along with Zoe Kravitz, is seen frolicking around with a gun.
The video-in-question, LOLAWOLF's "Bitch," came out in May, in which the "Wrecking Ball" hit maker can be seen fooling around with a gun, wearing just a bra and thong and posing in sexually provocative positions. At one point in the video, she even points the fake gun at the 26-year-old fellow singer.
The act comes as a surprise for her fans as former Disney star was in the news recently for questioning the use of gun and portrayal of violence in the Swift's recent video.
"That's supposed to be a good example? And I'm a bad role model because I'm running around with my titties out?" the 22-year-old singer told Marie Claire in reference to the revenge thing which was shown explicitly in "Bad Blood," before adding that she does not know how showing nipples is more inappropriate than flaunting guns.
Cyrus later clarified that neither she has any ill towards anyone nor does she hate Swift. She is admittedly just addressing the double standard of the video, Us Weekly reported. Although Cyrus' statement was widely appreciated in social media, the emergence of her recent video has placed question on her remark.
Cyrus and Swift are likely to have an awkward run-in at the upcoming MTV VMA evening on Aug. 30 as the former is set to host the show while the latter is nominated in the multiple categories.
