Enthusiasts of "Fast & Furious 8" eventually have something to smile about because latest rumors indicate that production of "Fast & Furious 7" series has already begun. After Vin Diesel confirmed the eighth sequel of the product, there have been widespread rumors concerning the cast, plot, and release of the film.
According to Digital Spy, "Fast & Furious 8" will be unveiled globally on April 14, 2017. Vin Diesel (Dom Toretto) has revealed some information concerning the anticipated series. He posted a picture of himself together with Kurt Russell portraying the set of the movie whereby he captioned it: Toretto Tuesday.
Neal Moritz, the producer of the film, indicated that the screenplay for the sequel is still under development, International Business Times reported. However, the picture of Diesel evidently shows that work has started on the eighth installation and that Kurt is back as Mr. Nobody.
In "Fast & Furious 7" Kurt Russell's character was plausible and the actor had initially revealed in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel that he might return in the franchise for a bigger role in more than one series.
From his statement, the fate of Mr. Nobody was kept open-ended in the seventh installment because Diesel had plans for the character in the future movies.
"I have an idea, a feeling of what Vin likely wants to do in the future that this personality could be involved. We created a character that I believe is, you know, a mystery man, he is Mr. Nobody we do not know his real name and you cannot figure out exactly the world he is in and I think that is fascinating,' Russell said.
Similarly, producer Neal had hinted that "Fast & Furious 8" would mark the start of a new trilogy. Therefore, in case Mr. Nobody has a bigger role in more than one movie and if the eighth installment is coming for a new trilogy, then Diesel's photo, revealing Russell's comeback in the product, shows that there could be more than a single film in the near future.
There are also reports that Cara Delevingne might star as a new member of the Toretto family after Mia left. Cara wants to play the villain and therefore, a high chance of collaborating with Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), the villain in "Fast & Furious 7."
