"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth are all disheartened now that the franchise is coming to an end. The actors, however, added that the friendship they developed throughout the years would remain the same.
In an interview with Comic Book Resources, Lawrence shared that she will not miss Hutcherson because they will always see each other. The actress, however, said that she will miss acting with her best friend. She said that Hutcherson is the only actor she had a problem holding eye contact with. She revealed that they always end up laughing and giving each other a hard time.
On the other hand, Hutcherson said that he would miss Lawrence's crazy antics on the set. He said that the actress brings such a genuine vibe that it encourages others to feel free to be themselves.
The "American Hustle" actress added that they don't feel much pressure to do well in the box office because the three of them are always on vacation. She shared that they would always spend time in Hemsworth's house where they just goof around and drink wine. Lawrence added that he got Hemsworth hooked on watching reality TV series, specifically "Vanderpump Rules."
Meanwhile, NBC is reportedly eager to bank on the success of the phenomenal franchise by modeling the reboot of "Xena: Warrior Princess" to Lawrence's character Katniss Everdeen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the modern Xena would have the "charmisma and charm" of Lawrence while having Katniss' intellect. The producers said that they are still looking for a sophisticated and smart superhero to play the lead role.
