"America's Got Talent" (AGT) Season 20 (2015) brings second round of Live Quarterfinals on Aug. 18, 2015. The show features performance by another set of 12 artists as they seek entry in the semifinals. Meanwhile, Mel B, Heidi Klum, Howard Stern and Howie Mandel return to judges' panel. Fans must note that the Live Quarterfinals 2015 are taking place at Radio City Music Hall. And the fate of the 12 performers of the night depends on public votes, which will decide which seven acts will advance to the next round and which will get eliminated. The judges get the privilege of saving only one out of 12 acts.
The show kicks off with a performance by DM Nation, an all girl dance-troupe. Howie and Heidi give them a standing ovation. But Howard feels their moves are similar to their previous performance. As for Heidi, she really liked their performance.
Performing next is Derek Hughes, a magician. He presents a trick using a card with Mel B's name written on it. He finds the card in his pocket. The judges like the act. Howard feels he is growing and so is his confidence. Mel B is amazed and loves the trick.
Next up is 3 Shades of Blue, a rock band. They are performing a rendition of Chains by Nick Jonas. The judges seem very impressed with the performance. However, Mel B feels they are not very confident with the vocals.
Animation Crew, a dance troupe, takes the stage next. They used some graphics showing a video game concept. However, their routine lack dance moves. Howard buzzes them out. The dance group fails to impress the judges. Mel B thinks it's innovative and would appeal to the young crowd.
The golden buzzer winner Arielle Baril, 12, performs next. She performs the cover of Lloyd Webber's "Pie Jesu" for her "America's Got Talent" (AGT) Season 10 (2015) Live Quarterfinals performance. The judges love her and her voice.
Uzeyer Novruzov is performing next. He is performing a dance with some ladders. The judges are really impressed with his performance.
Ira, the ventriloquist, takes the stage next. There are several muppets on the stage, singing a song. Everyone except Heidi loves them. Heidi feels that something is missing in the act.
Damone Rippy, the flyboarder, performs a daring act as his Quarterfinals performance. The judges are not very impressed by the act. Heidi says she has seen people doing this. Thus it is less special for her.
Myq Kaplan, the comedian, cracks some jokes to impress the audience and the judges. The judges like him, but they feel the jokes could have been better.
Another Golden Buzzer act takes the stage. The Craig Lewis Band performs the cover of "Try a Little Tenderness." Howie gives them a standing ovation and other judges are really impressed.
Third Golden Buzzer act performing tonight is Freckled Sky, a dance group. They perform a very innovative act that impresses the judges, but not much. They get mixed reviews as the judges feel their audition was better.
The final performer of "America's Got Talent" (AGT) Season 10 (2015) Live Quarterfinals 2 is Sharon Irving. She also happens to be a Golden Buzzer winner. Her performance gets all the four judges to their feet for a standing ovation. They think she is inspiring and a brilliant singer.
