NBA icon Kobe Bryant shared the stage with Taylor Swift during her "1989 World Tour' concert gig in Staples Center, Los Angeles, where he unveiled a banner marking her record-setting 16 sold-out shows.
Pop singing superstar Taylor Swift could not be any happier with the record-setting turnout of her "1989 World Tour." The "Bad Blood" singer was ecstatic with the newest banner unveiled during her concert gig at Staples Center. The black white and red banner marked her accomplishment as the artist with the most sold-out shows.
No less than National Basketball Association icon Kobe Bryant gave the clearly elated Swift the surprise tribute for her 16 sold-out shows at the Los Angeles events arena. Fans screamed their lungs out. The shrieks of delight continued when other "awesome celebrity guests" performed with the 25-year-old Billboard chart-topper, People magazine reported.
Swift sang "Counting Stars" with Ryan Tedder and also performed with R&B artist Mary J. Blige. The significant other of Calvin Harris also did a "White Horse" duet with Uzo Aduba. Swift later posted in her Instagram account, "I'm so blown away by the multi-talented Uzo Aduba..." She also described the "Orange Is the New Black" actress as very down-to-earth and kind.
Also sharing the concert stage with Swift were her "Blank Space" video co-star Sean O'Pry, actor-producer Chris Rock and "Friends" star Matt LeBlanc. Swift lost no time in documenting her concert guests' appearance in her Instagram account.
The singer-songwriter, who has always been under media scrutiny, has made it a point to communicate with fans online and during live concert performances. At her "1989" concert in Los Angeles, Swift hailed fans for their candidness and openness in communicating with her, Los Angeles Times reported.
Among the most memorable and spectacular concert shows Swift staged at the Staples Center was when she had promoted her studio album "Red" which carried songs of love and heartbreak.
