"Arrow" star Stephen Amell recently teased the mystical twists that will take place during the fourth season of the hit The CW series.
According to TV Line, Matt Ryan will guest star on "Arrow" season 4 and he will specifically appear in episode 5 as John Constantine. Ryan previously played the same role on NBC.
"Arrow" showrunner Marc Guggenheim spoke with TV Insider about the mystical twists in the upcoming installment and said that it is something that they have always wanted to explore on the show.
Guggenheim added that John's inclusion into the story relating to the aftermath of Sara Lance's resurrection via the Lazarus Pit is a great development for the show.
The showrunner added that every season, they have attempted to expand the mythology concept of "Arrow." In season 2, they introduced the concept of superpowers and in season 3, they brought in the League of Assassins.
Meanwhile, Amell recently competed against his social media nemesis Stardust on WWE. Several photos and GIFs were posted on the official Twitter account of the WWE Universe.
The two-on-two throwdown paired the "Arrow" star with Neville and the two went up against Stardust and King Barett.
Ahead of his match, Amell talked about "Arrow" season 4 while at the SummerSlam preshow. According to the actor, the upcoming installment will be much bigger compared to the first three seasons.
The actor added that "Arrow" season 4 will get into mystical things and will feature stories that fans of the hit DC Comics series "Green Arrow: Year One" will greatly appreciate.
"Arrow" season 4 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 7.
