The upcoming episodes of "Days of Our Lives" will finally name the victims of the serial killer that will appear in Salem.
According to Soap Opera Digest, fans will be surprised not only with the serial killer plot twist, but also with who will be the killer's victims. The publication also noted that Melissa Archer as Serena will only be part of "Days of Our Lives" for a few more episodes so fans are speculating that she will be the one killed off by the serial killer.
Meanwhile, if Archer's Serena would not have anything to do with the serial killer, there is a chance that she will be behind the diamond smuggling scheme that has plagued Salem.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Xander will be the first one killed off on the hit daytime soap opera. However, Xander's death will not have anything to do with the serial killer. There are speculations that Victor might simply decide to teach his nephew a valuable lesson after he committed multiple crimes day in and day out.
In other news, "Days of Our Lives" will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in November and it was recently confirmed that new cast members have been tapped to join the show.
Just recently, it was confirmed that some of the young cast members on the show will return to "Days of Our Lives" as teenagers. Starting Aug. 28, the grown up cast members will make an appearance on the hit soap opera.
"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays at 1 p.m. ET on NBC.
