Move over Beyoncé, as Kim Kardashian is now crowned as the queen of Instagram as the reality TV star's number of followers already surpassed the singer's.
With a total of 44.1 million followers, Kardashian is now the most popular figure on the photo sharing site apparently owing to the constant supply of her cleavage selfies. Although the difference between the followers of the two ladies is only marginal, according to the latest numbers, the reality TV star is expected to remain perched on the top for quite a sometime.
The secret behind Kardashian's popularity seems to be her often-racy media uploads which are almost thrice as compared with those of the Queen Bey. Also, although both the ladies upload the pics of themselves and their adorable daughters, it is observed that Kardashian's uploads are more personal than those of the singer who usually put emojis to caption her pics, Tech Insider reported.
As a Twitter user pointed out, one of the Kardashian's recent upload seems to have propelled her on the top slot. Over the weekend, the mother-of-one uploaded a pic of several sneakers of her rapper husband Kanye West which eventually became viral and eventually gained 5 million likes.
Creeping from behind is Taylor Swift with 43.7 million followers. Kardashian's half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner are also not far behind at the eighth and ninth position with 35.5 million and 33.8 million followers respectively.
Interestingly, Justin Bieber is the only male in the top-ten list of Instagram most popular figures which is otherwise dominated by female celebrities including Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj, Social Blade reported.
