"Kuroko's Basketball" has very interesting characters and while the anime displays some over the top abilities by its players, they can still be compared to real NBA superstars.
This was recently explored by Goboiano and one of the big questions was which character would be LeBron James. That would be Daiki Aomine, with little doubt. Great match for both the talent and the ego.
"Like Aomine, Lebron James could be considered the 'ace' in any team he is on, Miami Heat or Cleveland Cavaliers. Aomine's famous words, 'The only one who can beat me, is me,' are appropriate words to describe Lebron James because a majority of us can all agree that Lebron James is one of the greatest players in the world."
Aomine and LeBron can carry a team on their backs all the way to the championship. It would take a superior team effort to beat extremely gifted individuals like Daiki and James.
Speaking of superior team efforts, the site compared the Seirin team to the Golden State Warriors. But Kuroko is not Steph Curry, he is Andre Iguodala.
It is noted that Kuroko is himself an enigma, and it would be difficult to pin down an NBA superstar for comparison. However, Iggy's overall brilliance changes the tide of the game in their favor.
"Igoudala is able to help his team both on the offensive and defensive ends. On defense, he can create defensive stops and get steals. On offense, he can drive the ball into the paint and get quick in-transition points; shoot jumpers, and three-point shots. Steph Curry is given to point guard Shun Izuki, Klay Thompson is Junpei Hyuga, Harrison Barnes is Taiga Kagami and Draymond Green is Teppei Kiyoshi.
The rest of the Generation of Miracles: Ryota Kise as Anthony Davis, Shintaro Midorima as James Harden, Atsushi Murasakibara as Marc Gasol and point guard Seijuro Akashi is both Chris Paul and Derrick Rose.
