The LG G4 Pro release date is predicted to be in the end of 2015. It will be featuring better specs than the GoogleNexus 5 2015 that will be built by LG. Hence, waiting for the LG G4 Pro can be a good decision.
In July 2015, Cho Jun-ho, the President of LG Electronics had announced during a press conference that a "super premium phone" will be released by LG in the second half of this year, ET News reported. The rumor mill started referring to this mysterious flagship smartphone as the LG G4 Pro smartphone.
During a recent press meet, Jun-ho announced that LG is not working on a super premium smartphone. He added that the company would be manufacturing midrange and affordable smartphones for China and India, Phandroid reported. However, he confirmed that a flagship is slated to release in the last quarter of 2015.
When the rumors about super premium smartphone had started, tech experts predicted that LG would be launching a flagship smartphone with metal and glass chassis. However, the next LG flagship will not come with such premium features.
Speculations are rife that the upcoming LG flagship will be a phablet device that will be built to take on popular phablets like the Galaxy Note 5 and the iPhone 6S Plus. The purported specs of the LG G4 Pro include a 6-inch Quad HD resolution supporting screen, a Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4 GB of RAM, a rear camera of 20 MP and a stylus.
The Google Nexus 5 2015 from LG is expected to feature a 5.2-inch Quad HD screen and a Snapdragon 808 chip. The LG G4 Pro is likely to feature better specs than the LG Nexus 5 2015 and will be a serious competitor for the Huawei Nexus 6 2015 that will feature and 5.7-inch Quad HD screen and Snapdragon 810 SoC.
