Kim Kardashian has spoken about her health issues when trying to conceive for second time and now she has revealed that she might have to undergo a hysterectomy post the birth of her second child due in December.
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star who is expecting her second baby with Kanye West opened up about her pregnancy. In an interview with C magazine's Amanda de Kardashian spoke about having a third child with the 38-year-old rapper.
Kardashian suffered from a condition termed placenta accreta that she believes made it harder for her to get pregnant a second time. Placenta accreta is associated with an increased risk of profuse bleeding at the time of placental delivery.
"Well, they think I'll have placenta accreta again, so if the placenta grows a little bit deeper than it did last time, then they are prepared to have my uterus removed, which is a little scary for me. I think we're just gonna go day by day, see how overwhelming it is, and see how the delivery goes," she said.
Kardashian, who previously announced she and West are expecting a son, on her social media accounts, also talked about "how motherhood affected her career".
American reality television star clearly stated about her concerns about getting another condition called preeclampsia again, like she did in her first pregnancy in an interview with E! News on June 2 at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards in New York City.
"Hopefully this time I don't get preeclampsia. Hopefully, this time, I just have a healthier pregnancy," "I'm just going to try to enjoy it," Mrs.West said.
North West's mother said that this time she has not suffered from preeclampsia a potentially life-threatening medical condition she suffered during her first pregnancy.
