Best male video - "Uptown Funk" - Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars. He defeated Kendrick Lamar - "Alright," Nick Jonas - "Chains," Ed Sheeran - "Thinking Out Loud," The Weeknd - "Earned It."

Best pop video - "Blank Space" - Taylor Swift. She defeated Beyoncé - "7/11," Mark Ronson ft Bruno Mars - "Uptown Funk," Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud," Maroon 5 - "Sugar."

Best rock video - "Uma Thurman" - Fall Out Boy. They defeated Hozier - "Take Me to Church," Florence + the Machine - "Ship to Wreck," Arctic Monkeys - "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High," Walk the Moon - "Shut Up and Dance."
