"War Horse" actor Jeremy Irvine will reportedly play the role of Jack Hyde on "Fifty Shades Darker."
According to Melty, there are a handful of male actors who are fit for the titular role of Christian Grey's (Jamie Dornan) nemesis.
After Henry Cavill confirmed that he will not be part of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel, fans immediately came up with a list of actors who are perfect for the role.
The publication noted that Irvine could be perfect for the role of Jack because he is the type of actor who wants to always excel in his craft. In his past movies, Irvine did not have any problems getting into his character. In fact, he reportedly stopped eating for weeks and did not mind doing dangerous scenes on his own and without a double.
Other than these things, Irvine is also known for his good looks. In the book written by E.L. James, Jack was described as a good looking executive who could threaten Christian's relationship with Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson).
Meanwhile, there are also rumors that "American Horror Story" star Wes Bentley could play the role of Jack in "Fifty Shades Darker." The actor also starred in "The Hunger Games."
In other news, there are rumors that "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" will be filmed simultaneously. According to reports, this will be done in order to ensure that Universal Pictures will be able to cut on its production cost, according to Showbiz411.
"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
