"The Hunger Games" actor Liam Hemsworth has joined Instagram. As his first post, he shared a picture of him flirting with "The Muppets" star Miss Piggy.
In the photo, Hemsworth can be seen with his hand on Miss Piggy's cheek as she appears to be in awe of him. The photo was captioned as, "Spent Friday with the most beautiful girl in the world. Kermit, #SorryNotSorry. #TheMuppets #misspiggy."
The photo has already received 30.1 likes and has led to speculations that Hemsworth, who is all set to make an appearance on the show may romance Miss Piggy. He may also have a fight with Kermit, Piggy's ex-boyfriend, Entertain This reported.
Hemsworth will play himself in the show. Although it is not known what will be the plot line of the new series, it could feature "The Hunger Games" parody, according to Entertainment Weekly.
James Bobin has directed "The Muppets" from the screenplay by Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller. The series will open Tuesday, Sept. 22. Apparently, show producers Bill Prady and Bob Kushell have persuaded ABC to pick the show for their fall line up.
Meanwhile, Hemsworth has already got more than 207,000 followers within a day of joining the social media site. The actor is currently filming "Independence Day: Resurgence." He plays the lead Jake Morrison in the film.
Also, Hemsworth is reprising his role as Gale Hawthorne in the "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2." The much anticipated film opens Nov. 20. His other two films "By The Way of Helena" and "The Dressmaker" are currently in post-production.
