Good news gaming fans, the possible launch date for the Japanese RPG title, "Persona 5" has been revealed along with with a rumored PC version of the game.
Japanese video game company Atlus is rumored to announce the official release date for "Persona 5" for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 at the Sony Entertainment Japan Asia press conference on September 15. Josh Hardin, PR Manager for Atlus has been working on accessing the situation regarding the 2016 launch date for "Persona 5" as he confirmed that the latest title will be release this year for the PlayStation consoles.
The SCEJA event will likely highlight the marketing and promotional value of "Persona 5" as well as showcasing possible gameplay details and launch date in Japan, North America and Europe, Vine Report reported.
"Persona 5" is one the many "Persona" titles that Atlus has been working on this year alongside "Persona 4: Dancing All Night", "Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth" and PS3 reboot of "Persona 4: Arena Ultimax".
Atlus will likely release "Persona 5" in Japan this year and it is unlikely to arrive in other retails markets before the year ends. Many speculations from gaming fans claimed that Atlus might announce a delay in "Persona 5's" launch date to 2016, but the Japanese company is still sticking up to their 2015 release, Realty Today reported.
In other news, several rumors are making rounds that Altus is making a PC version of "Persona 5" as Hardin confirmed that a PC version for the game is "highly improbable" and will likely not happen anytime soon.
"Persona 5" will focus on unnamed male character living his life Tokyo, attending Shujin High School along with his two friends Ryuji and Anne as well as a talking cat, Morgana. They are students by day, phantom thieves at night as they search answers in a society controlled by darkness and corruption, while dishing out their own brand of justice.
"Persona 5" will be release sometime in 2015 for the PS4 and PS3.
