It seems that Justin Bieber is still not over from his tumultuous relationship with Selena Gomez as he is apparently giving a secret shout-out to her in his recently unveiled single "What Do You Mean" by filming in front of a wall spray painted with her name.
The pop star dropped off his new single from his upcoming album on the morning of Aug. 28, Friday. His new yet untitled album, which will be his first work since 2012's "Believe," is set to be available on Nov. 13.
As soon as the 21-year-old singer's latest single came out, eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that the name "Selena" has been spray-painted in pink on a wall of graffiti in the background of one of the shots of his racy music video, featuring model Xenia Deli, Daily Mail reported.
Although the former Disney star was separated from the YouTube sensation in 2014, the latter seems to be still fixated on her, going by the lyrics and the video of his new release.
The singer had also famously admitted to during a radio interview back in April that his rocky relationship with Gomez was a major inspiration for his upcoming album, Ryan Seacrest.com reported.
Meanwhile, Bieber appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Sept. 2, Wednesday, where he opened up about his emotional meltdown at the recently held MTV Video Music Awards.
The singer explained that since he missed some cues at the start, he earlier felt disappointed in himself, but was later overwhelmed by the loud cheering of the crowd.
"I didn't expect them to support me in the way they did," gushed the star to explain his moment before further adding that the audience response has been contrary since last time when he was "booed" at an award show. The singer also admitted that he started ranting at one point during the MTV VMA and almost forgot the release date of his upcoming album.
