New reports have been circulating that a new tablet called iPad Pro will also be announced on Sept. 9 event of Apple Inc.
Cupertino-based tech giant will unveil new version of iPhone, new Apple Watch bands, new Apple TV, and the gold anodized version of Apple Watch Sport this coming Wednesday. It will also launch new iPads; iPad Mini 4 and the highly anticipated iPad Pro.
iPad Pro is believed to feature 12.9-inch display, resulting to a giant iPad option for Apple fans. Its landscape split-screen mode can run two full-sized iPad apps next to each other, giving a truly “Pro” capabilities. The new iPad Pro dimensions measure 305.7mm x 222.8mm x 8mm.
Apple decided not to incorporate either the new Force Touch-integrated iPad stylus or keyboard to the new iPad Pro. They plan to sell the accessories separately, featuring two versions of the keyboard attachment, 9to5Mac reported. One is a double as a case and the other one is same with Apple Wireless Keyboard that were sold to Macs and iPads. The Force Touch sensor lets the users to finish various tasks that depends on how hard they press down the screen.
New iPad Pro is expected to have an iOS 9.1 pre-installed, the first full point release to iOS 9, and powered by A9X chip. It features four single raw speakers and a headphone jack on the top edge, two microphones placed on the center/top back and the center/top edge, a lock switch, and a power button on the top edge.
The base model of the new iPad is 64GB internal storage and the 128GB version is also available. It has built-in LTE capabilities, with three colors available: Gold, Silver, and Space Grey. As for the price, it is likely that Apple will give a price range of a little over $1,000, according to BGR.
