The "Interstellar" movie director and screenwriter Christopher Nolan will release an unnamed movie on July 21, 2017.
Warner Bros. has stated that Nolan will release his new film that the name has not yet been revealed. In line with this, upon the release of the "secret" movie of the great director, its competition will also be released, according to Irish Examiner.
Among its competition are an untitled animation Blue Sky project by Fox, "Pitch Perfect 3" by Universal Studio, and "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" by Europa Corp. The "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will be out two weeks beforehand and the "Spider-man" reboot is out a week later.
This yet unnamed film will be Nolan's first feature right after "Interstellar," which earned a gross of $673 million. The 45-year old film director, producer, and screenwriter, co-wrote this movie with his brother, Jonathan Nolan. It was handled by Warner Bros. for "the international rollout," while Paramount Pictures took care of the domestic release, according to Variety.
The studio mentioned above had already handled three of his "Batman" films, also called the "Dark Knight" series, namely, "Batman Begins," "The Dark Knight," and "The Dark Knight Rises," in which the trilogy had grossed $2.45 billion worldwide, as well as the science fiction titled "Inception" that had grossed $800 million.
Nolan, aside from the "Interstellar" movie, also directed and had screenwriting credits on the film titled "Prestige," a 2006 mystery drama wherein he worked with actors Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Michael Caine, Scarlett Johansson, David Bowie, Rebecca Hall, and Andy Serkis.
Since the film director has already received critical acclaim on "Interstellar," it would be great to stay tuned for more details regarding his interesting unnamed movie.
