"How to Get Away with Murder" Season 2, episode 1 titled "It's Time to Move On" will finally reveal the identity of Rebecca Sutter's killer. The promo video teased that Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) will confront Rebecca's killer in the new season premiere episode of the ABC legal drama series.
ABC Television Network recently released the promo video of "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 2 to tease the exciting scenes in the new season's premiere episode. In the promo video, Frank (Charlie Weber) tells Annalise that whoever killed Rebecca (Katie Findlay) had to be strong enough to drag her dead body behind the basement stairs.
"Why are we more inclined to hurt the ones we love the most?" Annalise asks during her class at Middleton University. The next scenes showed in the promo video suggest that Rebecca's boyfriend Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) is Annalise's prime suspect.
The HTGAWM Season 2 promo video ends with professor and defense attorney Annalise Keating confronting the killer. "Now that you've done this, you're a monster!" Annalise angrily stated.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "How to Get Away with Murder" series creator Peter Nowalk revealed that he will be focusing on the existential crisis that follows Annalise Keating and her top students called the Keating Five after the murders that happened in "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 1.
Nowalk hopes that the HTGAWM fans will be excited with the introduction of new mysteries in the new season. Nowalk teased that the high-stakes situation of Annalise and her students will affect their future decisions in life in that they are going to make more risky choices.
Viola Davis' performance in "How to Get Away with Murder" has earned her the "Lead Actress, Drama" nomination in the 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards. Davis, 50, revealed to People how she received and celebrated the great news.
Davis shared that she received a phone call from a friend while she was in her Jacuzzi. "We had a whole conversation and then, as he was ready to hang up, he said, ‘Oh, by the way, congratulations on your nomination'," Davis recounted.
To celebrate her Emmy nomination, Davis revealed that she made an egg salad sandwich on low-carb toast and poured herself some Prosecco before getting back inside the Jacuzzi. "How to Get Away with Murder" Season will premiere on Thursday night, Sept. 24, at 10/9c on ABC.
