Samsung is set to finish the development of Samsung Galaxy S7 with a snapdragon 820 processor, a dual camera setup and a howling 6GB of RAM, according to reports.
Recently, rumors have surfaced from Korea claiming that Samsung is set to launch the Samsung Galaxy S7 in two variations based on different screen dimensions. One will have a 5.8-inch display, while the other will follow with a 5.2-inch display, Tech Radar confirmed.
If the rumors proved to be true, the display is expected to come with a 4K resolution for one of the displays. The 5.8-inch screen, particularly, has a higher probability for this kind of resolution.
Samsung also announced on Sept. 9 that it had embarked on mass production of the first 12 GB LPDDR4 DRAM centered on 20nm technology. The RAM chip will be a key breakthrough in achieving the expected 6GB of RAM to be installed in the coming Samsung Galaxy S7.
According to Digital Trends, Galaxy S7 will feature 4GB RAM chips if the 6GB RAM chips will not be ready. The guarantee, however, is that both of the two variations will have a RAM greater than 4GB.
Another feature that will come as a big improvement will be a dual camera set up. Samsung's plan is to include a focus on low light performance and correctness. One lens will focus on brightness while the other will supply color information. The two metadata will get combined to produce high quality pictures.
Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be the next device after Samsung recently launched Galaxy Note 5. The company expects more with this new model after it earlier misjudged the demand for the Galaxy S6.
Although Samsung Galaxy S7's release date is unknown, speculations depict that it could be very soon. Development is to be completed as early as December which means that the Galaxy S7 may be launched early 2016.
