"The Bachelor" 2016 may just be looking for a new lead, following reports that Ben Higgins has found his future wife. Insiders close to the reality star claim that he and "Bachelor in Paradise" star Tenley Molzahn are secretly dating.
According to Hollywood Take, after breaking up with Josh Albers, Molzahn started seeing Higgins. The two, however, decided to keep their relationship private, as it was nothing serious at that time. Higgins and Molzahn reportedly hit it off but eventually decided to lay low when it was announced that the former will be the new bachelor.
The source claimed that the two wanted to hook up but decided against it. They both thought that it would only ruin Higgins' career.
Many fans, however, were unconvinced that the two stopped seeing each other. Some have started to wonder if Molzahn will eventually join the cast of "The Bachelor" 2016 much like what Nick Viall did in Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of "The Bachelorette."
Sources told E! News that fans can expect a "very straightforward" season, adding that there "isn't anything out of the ordinary planned."
When asked if there is a chance of Molzahn joining the cast, the insider revealed that it is highly unlikely. Unlike Bristowe and Viall, it was pointed out that Higgins and Molzahn did not really get to know each other prior to filming. If they really dated for a while, then it will be an entirely different story.
The source added that Molzahn did not want to be part of "The Bachelor," for she wanted to be the one being pursued and not the pursuer. The reality star reportedly did not want to compete with a bunch of girls for the attention of a single man.
