There is a price to her growing popularity, Kylie Jenner just found out the hard and painful way. A fan attacked the 18-year-old daughter of Caitlyn Jenner by pulling her newly dyed mint green hair.
Hollywood Life reports that the incident happened on Friday after Kylie was leaving the concert in Anaheim that featured her boyfriend, rapper Tyga, and another rapper, Chris Brown. Kylie winced in pain as the crazed fan pulled her hair, which caused the reality star's head to snap back.
The attack happened for only a few seconds because Kylie's security intervened. She was beside Tyga when the fan attacked Kylie whose popularity - with her lip injection, bikini photos and reports of sex video with Tyga - had overshadowed stepsister Kim's popularity.
Another proof of her popularity is that in the Kardashian website and app that she, together with sisters Kim, Khloe and Kendall, launched last week, Kylie had the most users with more than 600,000, while Kim only had more than 80,000. The website and apps, though, were hacked by a developer who later helped in fixing the security weakness.
Ironically, while Kim and Kylie are competing for the limelight, Kendall wants to shy away from it insofar as her love life is concerned. Just Jared reports that the 19-year-old model explains that she does not want her life affected just because she is seen in the company of a male.
"If I want to go out and grab a smoothie with a friend who's a male, I'm not gonna let the paparazzi stop me from doing that and living my life and just being a normal person," Kendall says.
