Former politician and host Jerry Springer will soon celebrate the silver anniversary of his show "The Jerry Springer Show" on Monday, Sept. 28, and the former news anchor identified different theories that attributed to the success of the said talk show.
Formerly a talk show sensation, "The Jerry Springer Show" used to be tackle different topics that are criticized by a lot of people. According to NBC Washington, the 71-year-old host said that he does not experience the negative feedback anymore over formerly sensitive topics such as homosexuality since he is not part of today's pop culture.
Today, the American show had become a daytime comedy that is watched by millions of people.
For the show's success, the former politician claimed a few theories that lead to the production's triumphant anniversary. According to Telegram, the "The Jerry Springer Show" host explained that people must have watched the series to explore other people's interesting behavior. He added that the show started in an era where people preferred entertainment, not celebrities.
Definitely, the former news anchor also agreed that his show is definitely an entertaining freak show for all the different topics and people who appeared as guests at his talk show. The 71-year-old host also joked that anyone can do his job by learning the following three phrases: "You did what?", "Come on out!" and "We'll be right back."
Contrary to his statements though, television critics believe that the show's secrets to success lies on the host's natural amusing vibe and playful attitude.
Still, the host insisted that he is merely an ordinary person who got lucky in his career. The former politician added that he believes that he does not have a particular talent against many talented people in the world of show business.
