"The Walking Dead" season 6 could be the best season for the AMC series, according to Design N Trend.
The publication revealed that there are several reasons why this is so.
In season 5, several well-loved characters were axed or killed off from the show. Fans were devastated for a brief period of time, only to realize that this could pave the way for new character and cast members to be introduced.
Meanwhile, other than the introduction of new characters, "The Walking Dead" season 6 also promises impressive storylines for the upcoming installment.
According to showrunner Scott M. Gimple, there is a chance that Negan will be introduced as season six's newest villain.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he said, "It's absolutely a possibility. And when I say it's a possibility, we have a plan in place, but there's a couple of variables for that plan that we're deciding about. It really depends on a few factors as we move into setting up the last bit of the season story-wise."
Additionally, "The Walking Dead" season 6 could also see the return of Ricktatorship and Morgan.
If these were to push through, fans of Rick and Morgan will definitely be excited to see how the two will interact with one another.
Lastly, fans are also looking forward to learning more about the wolves and their importance to the show. In season 5, the wolves were introduced to the show.
"The Walking Dead" season 6 will premiere on AMC on Oct. 11.
