As the season premiere is scheduled on Sunday, fans and enthusiasts could not wait for the final day to come. "Once Upon a Time" executive producers Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz have been dishing a lot of spoilers for the upcoming season 5 arc over the past few weeks, including the return of Meghan Ory's Ruby, Design Trend reported.
In the previous season, it has been shown how the characters have been divided and how their current conditions poses more challenges.
Expect the first half of the season to focus on what happens to the gang, while the characters are at Camelot and then again in the present day.
The reason behind the same-sex relationship being included in the plot and storyline was based on the present society that audience and followers are living in. Horowitz added, "It's something we think is due and important to do on the show because it's the world we live in."
The executives also did not divulge the names of the characters that will be involved in the same-sex relationships, but fans have guessed that they might be referring to Mulan (Jamie Chung), who had developed strong feelings for Aurora (Sarah Bolger).
The plot for the new upcoming season "Once Upon a Time" is a perplexing one. As Emma struggles in conquering her own darkness and preventing herself from hurting the people she loved the most. The Storybrooke characters comes back to the primetime on Sunday, September 27 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
