Frank Underwood has held a tradition of fascinating fans with his thoughts. Every episode of "House of Cards" sees Underwood taking time to unveil his ideas and plans by talking to the camera, inspiring and empathizing with every viewer.
Interesting as the Underwood's opinions and intentions seem, fans have been left wondering who the really audience is each time Underwood faces the camera. According to E! Online, it is one of the TV's biggest mysteries, and a solution has just surfaced.
The publication revealed that each time Kevin Spacey came on Late Show with Stephen Colbert; he made the biggest revelation concerning his character on "House of Cards," Underwood.
Colbert had these questions to ask Spacey, "Who do you think you're talking to when you talk right to the camera? Who is that person? Is it like a close confidant? Because the persona you're actually talking to, of course, are people on a 10-hour Netflix binge, sucking on boxed wine."
The Oscar Award Winner star was straightforward in his response asserting that the very truth is that each time he talks on camera; he speaks to none other than Donald Trump. The answer simply pointed out that Underwood knew all this time that Trump would be vying for presidency in 2016.
According to Netflix, "House of Cards" season 4 will happen on the network although there is yet an official release date. The new season will pick up from where season 3 ended with Claire (Robin Wright) separating with President Underwood.
Impatient viewers should not expect much from spacey because the star told E! Online in March, "I have such respect for the audience and the fact...there are people who still haven't watched season one...So I kind of have a policy about this: I won't discuss any plot points or anything that happens in any season and I haven't ever, for three years. As I said, it's one of the most satisfying parts of being in this show. I can't actually do it because I can't be the Spoiler in Chief."
