While most of the female celebrity wardrobe malfunctions involve unexpected breast exposure during movements such as dancing, it was a different case recently for sitcom star Mindy Kaling and actress Cara Delevingne.
While Mindy was shooting for a scene in "The Mindy Project," the lower back portion of her dress split since she was doing physical comedy. Mindy blames the rip on her large bottom, blogged Perez Hilton.
After the incident, Mindy tweeted on Wednesday a photo of the show's staff sewing the dress which she still had on. Mindy caption the photo: "When you split your dress doing a bit 'cause you have a big butt then have to be sewn back in."
Mindy's exposure was controlled, but in the case of Cara Delevingne, she unknowingly gave photographers a good view of her backside at the London premiere of "Pan" when the 23-year-old jumped up on the red carpet barricade to greet her fans. She apparently forgot that she was wearing a mini dress that exposed her butt when she bent over.
The model-turned-actress, when informed of the wardrobe malfunction, simply smoothed her skirt down and went on with her red carpet walk like nothing happened, reports Hollywood Life.
Cara is a luminous mermaid in the movie which is about Peter Pan and his Neverland adventure. Other stars of the movie are Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard, Garett Hedlund as Captain Hook, Levi Miller as Peter and Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily. "Pan" starts its regular theater run on Oct. 9.
