Winless squad Houston Texans (0-2) is set to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1) at the NRG Stadium on Sunday for a Week 3 NFL 2015 season game.
This year's top overall draft pick, quarterback Jameis Winston, won his first professional game after the Bucs outpointed the New Orleans Saints last Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Winston had an impressive game as he went 14-of-21 for 207 yards passing with one touchdown, no interceptions, and three sacks for a QBR of 85.3 and a rating of 114.6, as per ESPN.
Meanwhile, the Texans are still unable to find a win even when Ryan Mallett replaced Brian Hoyer as the team's starting signal caller.
Mallett started and played the entire game of Houston's 24-17 loss to the Carolina Panthers at the Bank of America Stadium on Sunday, via Fansided.
The 27-year-old quarterback was an improvement over Hoyer, but still it was not solid enough to be effective as a starter. Houston's offensive line should do a better job of protecting Mallett in this game versus the Bucs.
But perhaps the biggest advantage of the Texans would be at the defensive end with J.J. Watt expected to wreak havoc on a rookie quarterback like Winston.
Prediction: Texans win, 17-10
