"Jane the Virgin" season 2 lead star Gina Rodriguez recently revealed that she is more of a Michael than a Rafael fan.
On The CW series, Jane was impregnated by Rafael, and although the two never had sex, they developed real feelings for one another.
Jane and Michael were in a relationship before Jane's life took a 360-degree-turn when she learned that she was pregnant.
With this, Rafael decided to pursue the mother of his child, and he officially got together with Jane as boyfriend and girlfriend.
However, Michael never backed down from fighting for Jane. Although he took a step back when Jane's relationship with Rafael was flourishing, Michael immediately reached out to Jane when they broke up.
In an interview with TV Line, Rodriguez said that he has always been on Team Michael's side.
Additionally, the entire cast of "Jane the Virgin" seconded Rodriguez's statement and said that they are also rooting for Jane and Michael to get back together.
Meanwhile, executive producer Jennie Urman previously confirmed that Jane will choose who she will tie the knot with in the first five episodes of season 2.
Additionally, Jane and her son Mateo will reunite in the first few episodes of "Jane the Virgin" season 2.
In other news, TV Line also speculated that Jane will lose her virginity in the upcoming season 2 finale.
"During the season 2 finale, the titular heroine will get hitched - we're still torn between Rafael and Michael, so don't ask us to whom - and lose her virginity as the title becomes 'Jane the Virgin.'"
"Jane the Virgin" season 2 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 12.
