Robert Pattinson regrets starring in the "Twilight" movie franchise along with Kristen Stewart. FKA Twigs' fiancé shared that he was extremely uncomfortable with fame, adding that he had to hide certain things about himself to not disappoint the fans.
In an interview with British magazine NME, Pattinson revealed that he had to fight really hard to hold on to his identity. Being a part of something as big as "Twilight" may be the dream to some actors but Pattinson said that all it did was "drive him crazy." He shared that he gets embarrassed whenever the paparazzi followed him around and he sees horrible photos of him on gossip magazines the following day.
Pattinson said that he tried to ask advice from other seasoned actors but they only told him that he should quit acting if he hated the popularity that comes with it.
The actor, however, admitted that playing Edward Cullen have helped his career immensely. Unlike most people who tend to be confused on what they want to do in their 20s, Pattinson said that the film helped him appreciate what he already has. Although there was definitely a bad side in landing the role, he said that the whole experience was fun, adding that it gave him an adrenaline rush.
It has long been rumored that Pattinson and Stewart will be starring in another "Twilight" film. Twigs, however, did not want her fiancé to be spending more time with Stewart, reported Dish Nation. She even pointed out that Pattinson would never work with Stewart again after she cheated on him.
