The WWE Universe loves watching weekly programs and live events for a number of reasons, among those is coming up with over-the-top storylines to give their favorite superstars a push or to create an intriguing scenario.
In this issue, a couple of former indie darlings are groomed for a massive push toward the title picture.
As always, fans should take all of these with a grain of salt.
Dean Ambrose Set to Continue What John Cena Started with the WWE US Title
Reports surfaced recently about John Cena taking a significant time off due to "personal reasons." If it were true, this would leave a gaping hole in the main event landscape.
Enter: Dean Ambrose.
The former Shield member has had a lot of ups and downs since the demise of the popular faction.
On the other hand, Ambrose has a history with main eventing pay-per-views, after top billing WWE Payback, WWE Elimination Chamber, and WWE Money in the Bank - all against Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Another glaring factor is that Roman Reigns is set to square off with Bray Wyatt at Hell in a Cell, while Dean Ambrose has yet to be booked for a match at the said pay-per-view.
John Cena also doesn't have a Hell in a Cell opponent, let alone a rival.
Move Over Nikki Bella and Paige, Let Sasha Banks Show Who's Boss
Rumors have been constantly swirling around a triple threat match at Hell in a Cell that pits Paige, Nikki Bella, and WWE Divas Champion, Charlotte.
However, Team B. A. D. member, Sasha Banks, may just join the fray to add a bit of sassiness to the equation.
The Boss would be welcome addition, as she holds a submission victory over former Divas titleholder, Nikki Bella.
In a way, it could also boost the stock of her team, which looked to have taken a back seat in the Divas Revolution following the championship match of Charlotte and Nikki, as well as Paige's heel turn.
