Adobe recently announced that it is releasing the Photoshop Fix app into the iOS platform. The announcement was made at the annual MAX creativity conference where the company also launched the Capture CC mobile application.
The Photoshop Fix will bring some of the most common and powerful Photoshop tools that are only available on the desktop version right into mobile devices. These tools include the Healing Brush and Liquify.
On the other hand, the Capture CC app merges features of Adobe Brush, Color, Shape and Hue into a single service.
According to PC Mag, Adobe will also release updates for other Creative Cloud apps which includes Photoshop Sketch, Photoshop Mix, Comp CC, Premier Clip and Illustrator Draw.
According to Engadget, the Photo Fix app is only available for the iOS platform. However, Adobe said that it is also considering to release the app on the Android platform but did not provide information about the time frame of the app's arrival.
Adobe senior vice president and general manager of Digital Media Bryan Lamkin said in a statement, "Creative Cloud has become the de facto platform for all creative, providing the tools and services to fulfill every creative need. With this latest release, we're giving our creative customers the freedom they need to work and be inspired from anywhere."
Adobe also launched several new features for the CC desktop application. Illustrator and InDesign now sports new touch workspaces. The two tools also received the Adobe Fuse 3D character software update. The Dreamweaver and Muse application now includes free form design while Photoshop's Artboards received a precision upgrade. Lastly, the Premier Pro application now supports UltraHD videos.
