"Hyrule Warriors Legends" will give fans portable hack and slash action in the first quarter on 2016, and the developer company Koei Tecmo is already keeping up its updates of new characters that will appear in the 3DS version of the renowned Wii U original.
Recently, the company unveiled characters and stages from "The Wind Waker," and now it has revealed extra popular characters for the upcoming game, according to Nintendo Life.
The latest issue of Famitsu gives a confirmation that Skull Kid will be playable. Skull Kid previously appeared in "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" and "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask." Fans will be excited to have memories of this character based on the previous performances.
However, the most important correlations could be drawn from the "Ocarina of Time" version of Skull Kid since Famitsu has also confirmed the appearance of Phantom Ganon as the new boss. Ganon initially appeared in "Ocarina of Time."
According to Gematsu, since all characters from "Hyrule Warriors Legends" for 3DS will be playable in "Hyrule Warriors" for Wii U, if a player has both copies of the game, Skull Kid should be coming to the Wii release as well.
As it has been a tradition, Koei Tecmo will probably update its official website with high quality screenshots and a promo as soon as Famitsu's 'reveal' window is closed.
"Hyrule Warriors Legends" will be released for 3DS in Japan on Jan. 21 and in North American and Europe in the first quarter of 2016. However, fans can watch the latest trailer from the Tokyo Game Show below.
