The upcoming episode of "Switched at Birth" season 4 will feature Bay (Vanessa Marano) moving on from Emmett (Sean Berdy), and this time around it will be for good.
In an interview with Talk Nerdy With Us, Marano talked about her character's fate in the upcoming episodes, more specifically in the dating department.
According to her, season 4 is really about Bay moving past the recent adversities that came her way.
Other than breaking up with the love of her life, Bay was also involved in a sexual assault case. She also took the fall for Daphne (Katie Leclerc) early on in the season.
Meanwhile, when asked what she thinks about Bay and Emmett's past relationship, the actress said that she sees is as a dysfunctional one.
However, this does not mean that the estranged couple is not endearing. In fact, a lot of their fans love their relationship because it made them believe in destiny.
Additionally, Bay never saw Emmett's deafness as a hindrance for their love story.
"That's beautiful and romantic. But when they're actually together they just end up hurting each other which is terrible," she said.
In other news, the upcoming episodes of "Switched at Birth" season 4 will feature Bay opening herself up to the possibility of romance.
During the show's most recent episode, Bay and Emmett had the closure that they both deserved. Now, Emmett can move on with Skye, and Bay could be with someone else.
However, whether or not this new guy could be Travis is what fans need to watch out for on Monday night.
