Chris Jericho has never been known to bite his tongue and turn the other cheek to get another slap in the face.
Not so long ago, Jericho spoke with FOX Sports' Brian Fritz about being a quarter-of-a-century-old in the wrestling business, his relationship with Vince McMahon, and his Wrestlemania moments.
"When you think 25 years, it doesn't feel like it," Jericho told Fritz describing the impression of working in the ring for over two decades.
He continued: "I still go out there and perform at the highest of levels. I guess I give you the wishy-washy answer yes and no, but I don't feel like that at this point. When you look at the history and the money, then yes, yes I do."
Speaking of the monetary gains in the industry, "The Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla" has always shared the same views - money wise - with the majority owner and CEO of the WWE.
"I look at the business the same way that Vince (McMahon) does," he said. "In many ways, he's kind of my mentor as to how I feel about the wrestling business and what I think about the business."
However, despite this view on McMahon, the two polarizing personalities also had their fair share of mix-ups in the past.
"The worst argument is when I got the job to host 'Downfall,'" Jericho stated. "I didn't tell him because I didn't want him getting involved because sometimes the company will get involved and screw things up for you."
He even shared one instance with Vince that seemingly drew the ire of the WWE Universe.
"I wasn't supposed to be working with Fandango at Wrestlemania 29," he revealed. "It was supposed to be Ryback and that was kind of the deal we had made. That was the promise that was made and it was changed very quickly for no real reason."
For Jericho, it was still all about making a Wrestlemania moment out of a non-Wrestlemania worthy contest.
When asked if he's open to a match at next year's Wrestlemania 32 at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, he just nonchalantly replied with a simple: "Yes, no, maybe. It all depends."
Chris Jericho concluded: "What can I figure out to do on the biggest show that's going to kind of back door my way into becoming one of the more intriguing storylines of the entire night? If I can figure that out, then I'm always open for it.
