An official from Davis Monthan Air Force Base releases an statement that two Chinese nationality sailors died while six of their fellow sailors are said to be missing after the crew faces an accident in the sea where the boat made a major technical problem and sank in the Pacific Ocean.

According to Maj. Sarah Schwennesen, one of the Venezuelan fishing boat who pass by the area sited 11 sailors who are floating on a raft last Friday afternoon.
She also shared on her statement that, according to what the Vanezuelan crew saw, due to the accident transpired, they described four of the sailors received major burned and later two of them died because of the injuries they also had.

A quick response team immediately parachuted on the area of incident, it was coming from 563rd Rescue Group armed with equipment like inflatable boats and parachute to easily reach the Venezuelan vessel. Their location was about 1,100 nautical miles west part of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. First aid has been provided for the injured sailors from Saturday to Sunday morning.

Rescuers gave first aid to treat injured sailors and with the help of U.S airmen, they were flown using three helicopters and will reach Cabo San Lucas. While, the two sailors who are badly hurt will be taken to San Diego which most likely with different aircraft to a camp which is considered to as a burn unit.

Schwennesen also include on her statement that flying on the incident zone is very challenging for the team of rescuers because of a six-hour flight across ocean miles and also refueling the aircraft that is used for the rescue in Arizona Air National Guard located in Phoenix.

According to Schwennesen "The assistance of refueling by the 161st out of Phoenix was critical in providing faster care," She also added "They could refuel over the Pacific Ocean rather than fly down to Mexico first."

Venezuelan boat request for help assistance regarding the injured sailors around 5 p.m on Friday and Air Force Rescue Coordinator Center received their reports and immediately dispatch the team of rescuers.
