Proud mom Kelly Clarkson shared with the online world the first photo of her first child: two-week old daughter, River Rose.
In her tweet, Kelly described her newborn daughter as the "greatest thing on the planet." River Rose is Kelly's first child.
"Here is our beautiful baby girl River Rose; 6lbs 6oz, 18 inches, and the greatest thing on the planet."
The tweet's photo shows an adorable picture of a cuddly River Rose dressed in white and napping in a red-colored pram.
Kelly also tweeted: "Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th! Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!!"
The 32-year-old singer is married to her music manager husband, Brandon Blackstock, who has two children from his first marriage.
Shortly after announcing her pregnancy last year, Kelly predicted she would have a baby girl before finding out the baby's gender.
"I'm totally gonna have a girl. I'm manifesting it. And when I have a girl, you're gonna be like, 'That chick knew it!' "
Turns out Kelly was spot on.
Kelly rose to fame after winning the first season of American Idol in 2002. This feat earned her the title, "The Original American Idol."
Her debut single, "A Moment Like This," topped the US Billboard Hot 100 in 2002 and broke the record for the biggest jump to Number One in the chart's history. It also became the best-selling single of 2002 in the U.S.
Kelly's debut studio album, Thankful (2003), was certified 2× platinum and sold over 4.5 million copies worldwide. Its lead single, "Miss Independent," became an international hit, earning Clarkson her first Grammy nomination.
Her second album, Breakaway (2004), was certified 6× platinum and sold over 15 million copies worldwide. It earned Kelly two Grammy Awards, including one for the hit single, "Since U Been Gone."
