A series of serious attacks has been happening in the busiest places in China that killed a number of people. A deadly attack was done in the market of Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang, then another was done in 2 cars which led to the death of 39 people. It is because of these serious attacks that the government of China created a yearlong terrorism crackdown because they strongly believe that the terrorists are responsible for all of them. The authority of China vowed to hunt and punish all of them. They just can't tolerate such terrorism happening amidst their busy lives.
When the action starts, China successfully apprehended 380 suspects after just a month. They are also able to confiscate 264 devices that are said to be very dangerous as such devices can detonate a big quantity of explosives like about 3.5 tons. They have also executed another 13 suspects of the same attacks just the other week while the other 3 are said to be punished by fate via a fatal car crash at Tiananmen Square.
China believes that the source of these serious attacks is due to ethnic tensions in which Muslim Uighur minority are indirectly blamed. There are a number of them living in Xinjiang. But it is not clear though if those arrested and executed suspects were from such race as their ethnicities are not divulged.
Yes, the government of China must do their job in apprehending the people behind the deadly attack in their country but they should also realize that until proven guilty, everybody is innocent thus discriminating opinions should be cautiously shared. Being on a particular race should not make any man lesser than the other, sad to say that some countries do not understand this.
Terrorism crackdown is immensely important especially if done fairly and those hunted down are really the real culprits.
