"Fifty Shades of Grey" fans are reportedly losing interest in the upcoming sequel "Fifty Shades Darker" because of the never ending delays in the film's production.
According to Movie News Guide, fans of the franchise are also worried that the film's release will be delayed because of all the production-related issues it is currently faced with.
For instance, fans are not happy with E.L. James and Universal Pictures' decision to hire the author's husband Niall Leonard to pen the screenplay. Fans are also not happy to know that a male director will be leading the sequel.
Meanwhile, another issue that fans are worried about has to do with the film's script. In the past, it was revealed that James had a hard time working with Sam Taylor-Johnson because of their endless creative disagreements.
There are also some rumors that lead stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are having a hard time giving their roles justice because everything changes on set within a snap of a finger.
In a previous interview, the co-stars admitted to not feeling comfortable when doing their intimate scenes, according to Defamer.
According to Johnson, doing sex scenes with Dornan is emotionally taxing. Dornan, on the other hand, said that he had a hard time doing things to Johnson that he wouldn't otherwise do to another woman.
With all of these rumors is the other issue of the film still not having a casting director.
As of late, the release of date of "Fifty Shades Darker" remains the same on Feb. 10, 2017.
