While Taylor Swift has been known for drawing attention to her previous failed relationships with men, she has reportedly penned a song about a famous female artist who she claims she is not friends with. Rather, Swift referred to their status as being "straight-up enemies."

The 24-year-old singer has revealed to Rolling Stone that, in her latest album "1989", one of its tracks is not about a past romantic affair.

"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," Swift said, referring to the anonymous female star she wrote the song "Bad Blood" about.

The "I Knew You Were Trouble" hitmaker also gave specific instances when she felt that she and the other female celebrity will never be good friends.

"She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'" Swift continued. "(Then last year) she did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy!"

Although the country singer-songwriter sought modesty in identifying her "enemy", she disclosed a few more details about what happened wrongly that made her think twice about her so-called friend.

"It had to do with business," Swift explained. "She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly nonconfrontational -- you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."

Swift has had more than a few famous celebrities for her circle of best friends, such as Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Sarah Hyland and Lorde. Nonetheless, she went on to reveal specific things that she looks for in a good pal.

"I think these days girls are pitted against each other to an excessive amount, so we should stick together at all costs," Swift claimed. "But I don't think you should stick together with girls who extremely dislike you, no matter what you've tried to do."
