Filipina actress and presidential sister Kris Aquino has allowed her former husband and professional basketball player James Yap to occasionally watch their son Bimby to the shooting of the comedy film "The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin 2" with actor Vice Ganda.
The movie, which is the sequel of the comedy film "The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin," is one of the entries in the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival.
During Bimby's shooting of his first film "My Little Bossings" last year, Kris has never allowed James to go to the movie set to see their son.
But now, Kris said she will not mind if her former husband will chaperone Bimby to the film shooting because there will be days that she cannot guard their son since there would be conflict in schedule as she also started filming "Feng Shui 2."
"Feng Shui 2," which is a sequel of the hit horror suspense flick ten years ago, is also an entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.
Kris will reunite with director Chito Roño and will be paired with actor Coco Martin.
Kris also allowed James to tag along his girlfriend, Michela Cazzola, when he watches their son work.
James earlier shared that his son and her Italian girlfriend are getting along well with Michela constantly cooking pasta for Bimby.
Michela and Bimby met for the first time on April 6 when they both supported James during the Philippine Basketball Association All-Stars game.
Michela shared that at first, they were very shy towards each other, but after she attended the seven-year-old's birthday party held a few days after, they started talking.
The Italian model describes Bimby as "cute, nice, very polite, and cool guy."
Meanwhile, James said he is very happy with the new responsibility his former wife has given him.
He said he also approves of his son's working in the upcoming film "The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin 2."
After five years of being married, James and Kris' marriage was annulled in 2012.
After a year, Kris filed a temporary protection order against James after he allegedly made unwanted sexual advances on her.
James denied the allegations, but continuous conflict followed regarding visitation rights to his son.
It was only on March 5 this year when Kris announced through an Instagram post that she and her former husband had reached a "long-term agreement" regarding their son's visitation rights.
