Defensive midfielder Allan opened the scoring for Maurizio Sarri boys at the 13th minute while winger Lorenzo Insigne had a brace at the 48th and 67th to bury Siniša Mihajlović squad in the match.
Milan defender Rodrigo Ely's own goal 13 minutes before full time finalized the four-goal count for Napoli.
Meanwhile, league leader Fiorentina is equally outstanding in their last game, a 3-0 drubbing of Atalanta at the Stadio Artemio Franchi also on October 4.
