Bill Cosby is slapped with another lawsuit on Oct. 14, Wednesday, when a Baldwin woman, named Renita Hill, accused him of sexual abuse and drugging when she was just 16.
Hill has also claimed in the lawsuit that the 78-year-old comedian, along with his wife, Camille Cosby, later defamed her and intentionally caused her emotional distress when he and his lawyer dismissed the sexual abuse allegations.
According to the papers filed, Hill was an aspiring actress at the time when she got in contact with the veteran comedian who in turn offered her a role in his children's TV show titled "Picture Pages." She accused that soon after offering her the role, the comedian started funding her college education along with helping her in an acting career.
The lawsuit also has a detailed account of several hotel room encounters that happened across Atlantic City, New York City and Denver in 1980s wherein Cosby used to offer Hill spiked drinks after which she used to pass out only to discover herself in various stages of nudity, confused and disoriented.
Cosby allegedly also had contacted Hill's family at the time and gained their trust in the process.
"Cosby really ingratiated himself with her family. He called and spoke to her parents, assured that he would take her under his wing," George Kontos, one of Ms. Hill's attorneys, told Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
Hill has claimed in the lawsuit that she eventually decided to stop all contact with the comedian and refrained him from paying her rent and education fees in her sophomore year in college, News wpxi reported.
The Baldwin woman had first accused Cosby during a TV interview in November 2014 when she described his untoward behavior over several years while she attended Vincentian Academy in McCandless and, later, Temple University and Spelman College.
