Acquisition or padding up one's virtual property and cash haul is the central theme of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto or GTA 5 Online update. A new report points to October 20 as the date that gamers can start accessing these goodies.
The tons of upgrades to unload next week is likely bannered by the introduction of 19 new challenges, which are schemes for gamers to earn wags of cash for splurging of course within the GTA 5 realm. In the weekly Time Trial that the GTA Online is staging, for instance, $50,000 is dangled to those who can breach the time ceiling.
GTA 5 fans can also try to top the Longest Jump, Most Headshots, Most Near Misses and Longest Fall Survived and not only earn bragging rights but solid cash, Express said on its report. These bump ups in the form of challenges are meant to showcase the talent and skills of gamers while setting them up for fat paycheck, according to Rockstar.
And with cash on hand, shopping around naturally follows and always top on the list - hot cars that can be customized.
"Players can buy new rides from Benny's website, complete with a long list of customizable vehicles which can then be taken downtown to mod even more," online news site Express reported. Rockstar put up a new custom shop in downtown Strawberry for such endeavor.
The services include enhancing the interior upholstery of ride, custom painting it or just simply making the whole package beyond cool. "Give your ride lift with hydraulics - the more powerful the pumps, the higher you can bounce," per Rockstar as reported by Express.
Pumping up the sound volume while moving around is also an option as the GTA 5 creator prods players to "boost your stereo's performance with new speakers and subs in the back."
These upgrades, however, are coded exclusively for GTA fans on the Sony PlayStation 4, the Microsoft Xbox One and PC users. It was discussed in the Express report if PS3 and Xbox 360 owners will get a taste of the goodies soon.
It appears for now that these GTA 5 Online updates are rock solid for arrival on October 20 as the rumored Halloween DLC to touchdown later has been exposed as a hoax.
